【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforcalibratingthebinding-energyscalesofX-rayphotoelectronspectrometers,forgeneralanalyticalpurposes,usingunmonochromatedAlorMgX-raysormonochromatedAlX-rays.Itisonlyapplicabletoinstrumentswhichincorporateaniongunforsputtercleaning.ThisInternationalStandardfurtherspecifiesamethodtoestablishacalibrationschedule,totestforthebinding-energyscalelinearityatoneintermediateenergy,toconfirmtheuncertaintyofthescalecalibrationatonelowandonehighbinding-energyvalue,tocorrectforsmalldriftsofthatscaleandtodefinetheexpandeduncertaintyofthecalibrationofthebinding-energyscaleforaconfidencelevelof95%.Thisuncertaintyincludescontributionsforbehavioursobservedininterlaboratorystudiesbutdoesnotcoverallofthedefectsthatcouldoccur.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletoinstrumentswithbinding-energyscaleerrorsthataresignificantlynon-linearwithenergy,toinstrumentsoperatedintheconstantretardationratiomodeatretardationratioslessthan10,toinstrumentswithaspectrometerresolutionworsethan1,5eV,ortoinstrumentsrequiringtolerancelimitsof±0,03eVorless.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotprovideafullcalibrationcheck,whichwouldconfirmtheenergymeasuredateachaddressablepointontheenergyscaleandwhichwouldhavetobeperformedinaccordancewiththemanufacturer'srecommendedprocedures.
