【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardpresentsastrategyandpracticaltoolsforassessingandmanagingcoldriskintheworkplace,andincludes-modelsandmethodsforcoldriskassessmentandmanagement,-achecklistforidentifyingcold-relatedproblemsatwork,-amodel,methodandquestionnaireintendedforusebyoccupationalhealthcareprofessionalsinidentifyingthoseindividualswithsymptomsthatincreasetheircoldsensitivityand,withtheaidofsuchidentification,offeringoptimalguidanceandinstructionsforindividualcoldprotection,-guidelinesonhowtoapplythermalstandardsandothervalidatedscientificmethodswhenassessingcold-relatedrisks,and-apracticalexamplefromcoldwork.ThisInternationalStandardsupportsgoodoccupationalhealthandsafety(OHS).Itisapplicabletobothindoorandoutdoorworksituations—indoorworkincludesworkdoneinsidevehicles,outdoorworkbothinlandandoffshorework—butisnotapplicabletodivingsituationsorothertypesofworkperformedunderwater.
